are there no decent 4.1/5.1 speakers for around $150?

I see el cheapo speakers for $50, and really nice speakers for $250.. nothin in the middle!


the zx5300's or whatever are except that the speaker wire can't be easily lengthened... which is important for my application

check logitech. they have some good speakers for good prices. i got a set of 5.1 for like $65 not that long agao and they are really nice (to me anyway)

z-680 is exactly what you want. See if you can still get one. Cost me $200 a few years back.

You can find a refurbished onkyo home theatre system for a little bit more. Kick the logitech's ass.
