Are there newer (beta) nForce drivers?

I'm building a new system tonight using the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum - nForce3 chipset. Since I've been on an intel machine for a while, I was looking for drivers while I'm at work - and I noticed that they haven't updated the nForce drivers in like 5 months.

I wouldn't generally care, except that a lot of people in the World of Warcraft forums are reporting strange disconnect issues when they use the nVidia ethernet (especially those using that new SLI ASUS board).

I was hoping there might be a newer driver, or a beta one, that might fix this problem.

Anyone know if there are updated drivers? Even just Beta?

There was another thread running where someone mentioned a beta version of the unified drivers floating around but people were having issues installing them. The last official set are dated 9/17/04. Unfortunately we all will probably need to wait until Nvidia gets done sending out press releases about how great SLI is and all the accolades it's getting for Nforce4 before actually seeing unified drivers that address some of the issues seen with Nforce4's . Don't hold your breath 🙂 We will probably see these before seeing new certified Nvidia Unified drivers:

1) Press release stating how John Carmack only recommends using NForce4 SLI setups for Doom 4.

2) Press release #124 on how SLI is for "extreme gaming"

3) Thanksgiving 2005

4) Tri-Channel DDD Ram

5) Rambus drops all patent lawsuits

6) Fully open-source windows
