Are there more smokers or non-smokers where you live?

Down here (south Louisiana) there are many more smokers than no smokers, I would almost say that it 65-70% of people here are smokers. Hell, where I work 80% of the people here smoke. I am a non-smoker myself

I live in the South, and down here its 20 years behind in EVERYTHING.
Lots of smokers down here.

Oddly enough, both my parents are non-smokers. But I do - although I *want*wish*need* to quit.
Sad when you know something's putting a -10-20% drain on your HP but you keep those Marboro's equiped. 🙂

i think there are more smokers down south. up here where i am i'd venture there are more non-smokers than smokers.

Around here I guessed more non-smoggers. Windsor, Ontario.

I could be wrong though. There are lots of factories & tool and die shops, and everyone seems to light up at breaktime (cigarettes ONLY of course).

I take it you've never been to the west coast?

Less smokers (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) I would say mostly due to a smoking ban in all public places and privite restaraunts, bars etc.

I live in Southern Louisiana and work for the State. I've noticed that most of the engineers do not smoke, but many of the secretaries and technicians do.

I've noticed there are only a few smokers in my neighborhood.

i think there are more smokers per capita in MO than in the US as a whole, seems like it anyway

At school I'd say most people will smoke from time to time, but everywhere I go there are more non-smokers in the addicted do it all the time sense.
