Are there cheaper, more generic red bull-like drinks?

Really, the ingredients in red bull are not all that secret. It's like a prescription drug to me. And I am looking for the generic version to buy in bulk. Does such a drink exist?

Hmmm.. I'm not aware of any specific red-bull clones, although I haven't really compared ingredients..

There are tons of energy drink knock offs though. Just find another one that you like.

Yeah they do in the UK, but most taste like crap.

The only one good enough as a substitute is Tesco's 'KICK!'

Or you could just drop a double espresso.

If you live in New Zealand or every visit there, there is an energy drink called V or Vitalise. Its super good! I wish they had it in the US :( I could import it but it would cost $5 a can, that would normally cost like $1. Plus I dont know how well they would last being shipped. Oh well, one more reason to go back to NZ some day :)

Heh a friend of mine tried one of those when he was here the other day. He chugs it and 20 minutes later, he's asleep on my futon.

i wonder what the profit margin on that garbage is, it has to be high at the rip off $2 a can they charge, plus it tastes like crap!

I have tried "Pure Energy" that is a fraction the price and tastes the same, Also Red Devil....not as nice but acceptable...will have to try Kick I think.

Bawls is some good stuff!

They have it at the Publix near my house, and the CompUSA sells cases of them.
