Are there are people-person jobs in the CS / SE field?

I don't think i could go to the office everyday and program. I'm already into my third year as a CS major, though. What jobs are out there that are people jobs in this field? Maybe something like a team coordinator for a project? Or something like this? Any insight to people out there already in this field

If you have to deal with the goddamn customers directly, I suppose there are.

tons of them. most development jobs require team interaction on a pretty large scale. I'm a consultant (J2EE) and I deal with the customer frequently. In my environment, developers are not anti-social.

If you don't want to do CS then start taking marketing and business classes now and at least get a minor in business. This way you can start with marketing, PR, sales, management trainee etc... but still get a job with a tech company because you can understand what they do.

Go into technical sales like me, great job and im only at the office twice a week :thumbsup:

I'd been hoping this was the case. I had a temporary moment of panic where i realized that I need to interact with people on a daily basis in order to enjoy my job, and I was worried a CS degree wasn't going to allow that. Anyways, I think I make an ideal candidate for a job that requires technical expertise mixed with people skills.
