Hopefully RossMAN's Hive Mind knowledge of all things hosting will come to the rescue! (I kid, I kid).

Does anyone know if there are any hosts that offer MS Exchange mail hosting? I have yet to find one but having that would be amazing since I use a Treo 24/7.

Would a dedi with windows installed be the only option? I assume I would still have to pay for the server software (ick).

Most windows hosting providers offer exchange hosting but I can't think of any that offhand bundle it with their webhosting. If you don't need windows hosting it might just be cheaper to get an exchange account and a seperate web hosting account.

For my Treo, I use mail2web.com. Their basic exchange is only $4 a month, iirc.

"Hosting" in a logical sense is fine, and you can pay whomever you like to do it, but please please make sure the actual server hardware is on site or very near (less than a few miles).

Reason being is that not only do Windows hosting outfits have to recoop hardware and datacenter costs, but have to pay for licensing under SPLA (Service Provider Level Agreement), which isn't very cheap (typically $5-6 provider cost per user, and another $20/mo per server for Windows licenses). So when you see the average cost being between $8-13, you'll know its because they gotta recoop their costs.
