Are there any sites out there where you can sign up for a wake-up call?
Thanks.

Hehe. Also, what is the best alarm program for the PC? I must wake up and I'm a fairly deep sleeper so I'm trying to have a lot of alarms go off at once, I think that will help.

<< This one works: Mr. WakeUp >>

not for me, it didnt...they never called back when i tried to register...but they still probably have my info-i'm not impressed with them at all :disgust:

When i absolutely HAVE to wakeup, i use:
-my two alarm clocks
-a program called "waker" (maybe waker98...it plays the mp3 or cd track of my choice at the time i choose)
-set my TV to turn on
-ask a friend to "wake me up if i'm not up by ____ "

I think Mr.Wakeup is the same as Iping.

Anyway, I use them all the time and they work flawlessly.

dude, you have no discipline, use one alarm clock, place it so you have to leave the bed to turn it off, and force yourself to get up.

iPing is the official company name for Mr. Wake Up, I think.

I've been using it for a while. A few complaints:

- A few phone rings aren't good enough to wake me up. :)
- When their server is too busy, the calls are off by up to a couple of hours. <-- BAD!!! :(
- I prefer alarm clock now.

IcemanJer, you clearly don't know what you're talking about. I am a deep sleeper. For example, my roommate told me that the alarm rings for 30 minutes before I wake up. It takes more to wake me up, understand that.

i use WinAlarm, it's a plugin for WinAMP. you can set multiple alarms, set them to go off daily, every friday, every friday and tuesday, whatever you want. it starts winamp and plays the file or list you select (still trying to find an mp3 of an ALARM clock ;) ), and you can even set it to progressively push the volume up slowly. so i set everything on max except my winamp which is set on 0%, then if i'm not awake by the time it gets fairly loud, i'm definitely awake before it reaches max volume. my Klipsch promedia sub is beneath my bed and i start vibrating by 5%, so it's an added bonus ;)

i figure if i don't wake up and my klipsches are playing maximum volume i'd have already gone deaf and have bigger problems to worry about, or anyone within earshot will have come by and kicked my ass, thoroughly waking me up.
