Are there any TV cards that have component input? (was: How substantial is the difference between composite and S-Video)

I think the title pretty much says it all. If I have something like a digital cable box and a 10-bit TV card in my computer, would the difference between an S-Video cable and composite video over an RCA cable be significant?

One of the main reasons I'm asking is becuase the aforementioned cable box only has a composite video output, but it looks like there's an optional S-Video output that this particular box doesn't have, and perhaps I could get the cable co to give me one that does.

im seen tons of the digital cable boxes and none of them have had the svideo connecter actually there. heres what you do tho, order your cable co's hdtv cable box. for comcast its only $2 more a month. even if you dont have hdtv, it gives you svideo out and dolby digital out.

and to answer your question, svideo does help the picture alot. it adds more definition and gets rid of dot crawl (look at the menu's of the cable box to see this)

I'll look in to that, but it brings me to another question. Are there any TV cards out there currently that have component input? If I'm going to be getting an HDTV box, I'd want to get the very best video quality it can offer.
