Are there any substitutes to the Visa Check Card?

Ok, I was on the visa website and I saw that none of the banks in my area are on their supported list. Is there anything else besides a debit card that does the same thing?
 
You don't have a Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Bank One, USBank, Compass Bank, or Washington Mutual near you?

Where do you live, Afghanistan?
