Hello all!
Does anyone know of any current SSD drives featuring hardware encryption (like Intel 320 drives) but supporting 6Gbps SATA III connections.
The key is that I need to see how the SATA HDD password is set on the drive. It looks like the Vertex 3 Pro supports hardware encryption... but OCZ's documentation doesn't really give any detail about the encryption support on their drives. I called their tech support to see if the Vertex 3 (non-pro) supports encryption and they weren't sure, nor could they confirm how to set the SATA HDD password on their drives to enforce the encryption.
The Intel 320 line seems great in terms of encryption, but is limited to 3Gbps. I'd love to have a drive running on 6Gbps in my new Sandy Bridge machine.
Thanks!
