Are there any sports games similar to Baseball Superstars 2011?

I bought this on the 10 cent sale and have been playing the hell out of it. It isn't a typical baseball game, I like the rpg style leveling up and upgrading

I am on my 11th season and am still not maxed by any means so I must not be doing something right. It keeps asking me if I want to retire.

Homerun derby to earn coins for equipment. Spend on the training aids and take the time to do the side quests. At a certain point it asks if you want to retirr at the end of each season up until mandatory retirement.

My first guy, couldn't max out. Second go round did the trick.

Looks like there's a Soccer Superstars game as well. Haven't tried it yet. . .
