are there any quiet fans that will go with a sk6 to cool my xp2000+?

i searched for quiet fans, but seems many ppl no longer use the sk6 in favor of the sk7 and slk800. correct me if i am wrong, but those heatsinks usually pair with 80mm fans right? i haven't really seen much comments about quiet 60mm fans... does such a thing exist? i have a ystech and delta and JEEBUZZ they are loud (even with the case closed).

EDIT - hmm... what do u guys think about this?

Looking for quiet? Use the stock clips and mount the fan diagonally on the heatsink. I've done this many a time and the clips do work but are tight to get on. For the fan, get a panaflo 80mm L1A, super quiet.

Exactly what I was gonna say. Especially since the Panaflo has the same CFM as the 60mm spanky linked to, but with the benfit of much quieter operation.

I use a thermaltake volcano 6cu fan/heasink keeps it plenty cool, and runs at 31DB

could u run that by me again? u mean use the stock clips from the sk6 to mount the 80mm panaflo?

Yup.

Turn the fan 45 degrees to the heat sink. Now slip the fan clips over the corners of the fan.

very cost effective as well Spank 😉svc has 92mm NMB fans for cheap ..think 5 for $11 or so ..make up an order if you going there to buy stuffz ..🙂
