Are there any quad port nics faster than 10g?

I can not even imagine the type of I/O one would require for 100G.

To my understanding infiniband is used when you have multipul systems talking to to whatever, and not for single machine to single machine file transfers.
It would not be attainable even if you were running a full bloated VROC controller with NVMe's.
I do not think even typical RAID controller running SAS12G could do this, there is no way you can tell me that its possible with spinners or conventional SSD's even.

Unless your backing up the entire office floor onto 1 machine, well i can go into a lot of IT issues of you doing that... But your bottleneck will again be at the server end in storage I/O.

Also i can get into many issues like putting all your backup data on that many PC's on 1 server.

And you also would probably require full 16x pci-e lanes, as i believe even 8x would not be able to sustain 100G transfers.
