i've been playing cs recently and the laptop is getting really hot...and the cpu is located under the asdf area of the keyboard, so my fingers on my left hand are numb :(

I dunno, but as for your heat problem itself, make sure the thing's not sitting flat on a desk or anything, always have the back propped up a bit if possible. You may need to get a laptop cooler, it's no big deal, they're cheap and basically just a little mat with some fans in it. I've got one myself since I fold, and it makes quite a bit of difference in temperature as well as noise.

cool...gotta check it out. also, once the computer gets hot, its starts locking up every now and then for a few seconds, and gets me killed :(

Yeah, it doesn't matter what you prop the back up with, as long as there's space between the bottom of the laptop (specifically where the CPU fan intake and the memory is located, HDD can get hot too, but it's not nearly as much of a problem). Sometimes it's enough to stick a pen under the back, but then again I have a T2300 and GMA950, you may need to do more than that.
