Are there any pre-built systems that have 4GHz+ AMD processors?

Are there pre-built systems or Newegg kits that use a 4GHz or higher AMD processor? Is buying a pre-built PC cheaper than buying components and OS from scratch?

Yes: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...8-Series%20APU

If your budget is low and you need a copy of Windows, a pre-built system could be cheaper. However, higher performance pre-builts typically have imbalanced components that don't reflect anywhere near the best choices you could make for a custom high performance [gaming] PC, and in addition pre-builts typically charge a premium for higher end parts. In my experience, you save $100 or more when building it yourself, and you end up with parts that are better quality, have longer warranties and ones that better suit your needs.

If you are building a high-end PC, it will be cheaper. If a $500 is you, a Prebuilt is for you.

If you are buying Prebuilt, truck you and your thread to Prebuilt under Cases and above Networking. You can do that by reporting your original post and want it moved to Prebuilt.
