Are there any passive $200 PCI-E GPUs?

Wondering what GPU to go with. Something $200 or under is preferable, and something fanless would be ideal for lack of maintenance (cleaning) as long as it's not too old a generation of GPU. Any suggestions?

What's fanless these days? Wasn't there an NVidia GPU not that long ago that was fanless? Or was that the old 6600GT? Any fanless 7600GTs going to be released?

I'm sure there are many mate ;) X300s, 6200s, 6600s, even x800/x1600/7900s come in fanless form.

There was recently an article on some fanless cards on the front page of this site. Go to the video tab.

maybe as a side benefit but for them it's more just having a fairly recent chipset so it can make use of the latest driver benefits and video codecs and whatnot.

Off-topic: I was looking for a card on NewEgg (Passively-cooled X1300) and a customer review for a $70 X1300 with 128MB RAM said, "All you need for current games"
Note: Don't believe everything you read on NewEgg Customer Reviews.

Well that all depends on personal preference. I know people that are perfectly happy with 800x600 medium settings in games because they play games for the story and just to play it so for people like that, an x1300 is more than enough for current games.
