Are there any Nforce2 micro-ATX motherboards out yet?

I don't get why NONE of the nForce2 boards are using the onboard video option!!! 😕

The Enthusiasts buy the SPP version of Nforce 2 (no Video)

The happy go lucky morans like Muah, buy the IGP version of Nforce 2 (WITH DUAL VIDEO) Epox will have 1 out in about 1 week. I will buy that.

I see no reason for an MATX nforce 2. The market is saturated with Nforce MATX as it is already. Buy an Asus Nforce MATX AA and slap a Athlon 2600+ (266fsb) and be done with it.

The Nforce 2 is for 333FSB to 400FSB bartons. So a Value processor would not go great in a Enthusiast size motherboard.

I think the nForce 2 is great for smaller form factors. With onboard sound, ethernet, and usb 2.0 we don't absolutely need 6 pci slots. It would be nice for an matx lan box.

Regarding the BIOSTAR board, the website says that it supports 6 channel sound but under the I/O section it lists "1 x Speak-out, 1 x Line-in, 1 x Mic.-in" and "1x Front Audio"
Does this mean that there's only one audio out jack in the back and what's the front audio?

We haven't needed 6 PCI slots ever, except for the very few who stack their systems out with really smart stuff. Right now I've my modem, network, sound and SCSI cards in and there's still 2 free; with a more integrated mobo I certainly wouldn't need this many. That's leaving AGP aside.

Given that this PC is about 16" tall, I expect that my next one will be about 7" tall, with firewire, 2x LAN, 6ch audio and DVD-RW over what I have now, aside from the next fast cpu. It's about time PCs weren't such huge beige boxes.
