Are there any newsgroups or chats for Visual Studio .NET?

I searched my news server and found nothing.

How does someone create a new newsgroup?

Yes. In fact there are many of them. Just a few below, but really all you need to do is search on yahoo:

codeproject
dotnet247
csharpcorner

If anyone has a particular favorite, I would like to know!

I forgot to mention. There are several microsoft newsgroups which cover .NET but to be honest I haven't found them to be particularly useful. Search on vstudio or vsnet and microsoft. Again, if anyone knows of a better newsgroup I'd like to know too!
