Are there any new AMD boards coming out this year?

Just curious have there been any news/leaks about upcoming AMD motherboards, especially micro ATX?

We're due for new builds but I really want to go the micro ATX route and shrink our desktops down. One of us has a giant, heavy full tower that I really want to ditch. However, I'm not finding any micro ATX AMD boards with 900 chips on them. I noticed there are some really nice mATX Intel boards but nothing comparable for AMD, what gives?

For better or worse, a lot of the new mATX/ITX AMD boards seem to be FM2.

yeah that is what I notice but unfortunately not what I want :)

I'm upgrading from a 9750, based on what I've seen the A10-5800K is only a bit better but not much

The 9750 as in Phenom 2.4ghz quad? The A10 should be quite a bit better than that, though if you're replacing the motherboard and CPU it'd be better to go to 1155 if you can find a good combo deal on an Intel i5 + motherboard.

Your old Phenom is getting stomped on by the Piledriver cores in the FM2 A10-5800K.

FM2 is AMD's roadmap going forward for mATX / mini-ITX so you can't get around it. It should also be socket compatible with the Kaveri / Richland chips due later this year.
