I have a document given to me by a radio station that extends an offer to promote my concerts I put on. I have taken some marketing classes at my college, but I still do not understand how this document works. It is only one page in length. I bolded parts that I don't understand:

-----------------------------

<radio station> is proud to give life to local music in the Metro. If you are looking for added exposure for an event you?re promoting ? this is the package for you!

Timeline: ______________________

? 30 Underwriting Announcements to run 6am-Mid
? 30 Promos to run 24hr ROS *
? $500 & 5 pair of tickets **

Please provide your <radio station> account rep with any music that you would like included in the announcements or promos.

Because of the nature of live events, all signed contracts must be accompanied with a check. This package cannot be scheduled or produced without prepayment.

* <four digit callsign> reserves the right to delete any promo if necessary. Promos will be made good only if time allows.
** This package is intended for local / regional promoters only. National promoters are not extended this special offer.

Disclaimer: I may be completely incorrect.

Underwriting Announcement is a short call out by the DJ. "This song block bought to you by XXXXXX" type of thing.

Promos are more like straight up ads. They probably play a music clip and give out concert time/location etc.
