Are there any major quality differences between DVI cables?

There are some $5 ones on eBay and then there are $100 Monster ones.

Shouldn't they be about the same because they're digital? No?

Also, what's the difference between dual-link and single-link DVI cables? They look the same from the pictures.

monster cables provide THE BEST in any situation. it depends on your surroundings. monster cables have better sheild for the first part. ive opened on up and compared and monster wins by far. if you are sure there wont be any interference or noise from any place then the 5 dollar one should be fine, but i own the monster s-video connector for my XBOX and i wouldnt trade it for anything
