Other than Apple? Getting tired of laptops only featuring a 4-pin firewire jack. Sucks because I can't use my Ipod from it for an extended period. Nor can I use a firewire compact flash reader. Or other devices that power off of the computer. What a waste of a port.

Gateway makes one I think, but I dunno if their laptops are any good.
For Compact Flash, just use PCMCIA. The adapters cost about $10.
I have both PCMCIA and Firewire CF readers. The speed difference is minor with my flash cards, but then again, I don't have the fastest cards in the world.Originally posted by: AmdInside
There is a cardbus card reader that I was considering purchasing (much faster than PCMCIA) however it is rather expensive right now (around $70). Ideally, I would have liked to have a 6-pin fireport port for my Ipod as well as any other cool firewire devices out there. Sad.Originally posted by: Eug
