are there any KT333 motherboards out with no onboard raid and sound?

I have no use for raid, and dont like onboard sound. Hate having to go through the trouble of disabling it.

Well the Shuttle AK35GT2 has no Raid. But is does have a on-board sound. The sound though is a C-Media 5.1 sound card. It is a real sound card, NOT some varient of a AC97.

I have the C-Media sound and it is really good.

But if that is still a no go look at Abit. I know they have a KT333 board with raid, but they usually make the same board without Raid. So try there

The ASUS A7V333 can be had in a stripped version without sound or RAID. It does come w/ USB 2.0. Check Pricewatch for the cheapest variants fo the board and they should be barren as a virgin's mind... I've got a KX7-333R right here, and hate it: unstable, the RAID is finicky, and it WILL NOT POST w/ a Thoroughbred processor, even WITH the BIOS update.

ABIT KX7-333 could be your answer... If you can get a no raid ver...
