are there any known issues with the G400 and KX133??

I'm gonna build a computer and I would like to use the G400 (don't knock the choice) coupled with a KA7. Are there any known compatibility issues between the two?? Anyone have these paired up and, if so, what are your experiences?

I'm running a KA7 with a G400 Max with Win2K. It's been nothing short of great. No issues whatsoever. The only trouble I've run into was with my Turtle Beach Montego Quadzilla card. All sorts of weird problems, lockups, reboots, blue screens, etc. Swapped it for a SoundBlaster Live and now life is good.

The only problem I was having with my KA7 and G400 is that the 5.52 drivers from Matrox combined with the old 4.20 4in1 drivers from VIA would lock up Quake3. Other than that I didn't have any problems.

Now, a couple of months later, we have the 4.23 4in1's from VIA and the new *BETA* 6.0 driver from Matrox. UT and Q3 work great! There is some texture sliding in Everquest and Asheron's Call, but that will be fixed in the release version of the Matrox drivers.

Yeah, I believe the 5.52 drivers work just fine with the games and the VIA 4.23 4in1's.

I run a k7v and a g400 with the 5.52 drivers-no problems what so ever, but then again I don't play Q3.
