Are there any Internet services for home users with high upload speeds?

I have Comcast and they just upgraded me to 6mbps or something for download. I don't remember the upload speed, but I know it's something like 30 or 100kbps. Are there any home services that don't cost $1,000 a month that have decent upload speeds in the Mbps range? Home server = teh slow 😛

In the New York City area there are business plan that offer by Time Warner and Verizon that provide decent Uploads and allow using it for server (they would even give you a static IP) prices varied around $200 - $300.

However it is not really relevant unless it is offered in your ?Neck in the Woods? as well.

In order to find a real answer you have to find the available providers in your area and see what plans they offer.
