Are there any Intel USB 3.0 drivers for Windows 8.1?

Dear All,

Am considering upgrading to Windows 8.1 from Windows 7.0, but am wondering why there aren't any Intel 3.0 drivers on ASUS' support page for Windows 8.0 or 8.1?

They are there for Windows 7.0. I guess using them is out of the question.

I have an ASUS Z87 Expert board. Only available USB 3.0 drivers are the Asmedia?

One would think that having Intel USB 3.0 drivers for windows is pretty essential.

If someone could help with a link (preferably to an Intel site) that would be most appreciated.

Windows 8 has native in-box USB 3.0 driver. Intel is not releasing a specific Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller driver for Windows 8.

Guess that means the Intel USB drivers come with Windows 8 and there isn't a need to install them separately.
