are there any intel price cuts coming up?

I want to get a shiny new p3 700E but with the p4 out, I was wondering if there are any intel price cuts coming up. I don't want to buy the processor only to see it for half the price the next week. And how's the overclockability of a P3 550E or 600E? Thanks.

If you're not in a hurry, prices usually come down after X-mas. The best P3's for overclocking seem to be the 700 or 750 cBO's. Maybe do a search for posts by Compuwiz1, who sells guaranteed (i.e., pre-tested) overclockable P3's and knows what's what. Also see this.
