Are there any IDE RAID controllers that meet these requirements?

I want to replace my 40 GB Barracuda IV with a RAID0 array. Yes, I'm well aware of the risks associated with RAID0. I don't care, I have nothing important on my machine.

This is what I want:

64-bit, 33 MHz PCI (Although I would consider 64-bit/66 MHz, though I would have to replace my Tiger MP with an MPX)
ATA66/100 support, 133 would be nice
Standard SDRAM upgradeable cache (I want to be able to put a 128 MB PC133 DIMM on it)
RAID0/1/0+1 support

Is there anything available that meets all or even most of these requirements?

I've been looking, but I haven't found anything particularly compelling.

Promise just released the fastTrak2000. It meets most if not all those requirements. Also check out RocketRaid. I think they have one too.

Unfortunately neither of those are 64-bit cards, & neither has upgradeable cache...

The SuperTrak 100 is the closest I've found thus far, but for the price I might as well make the jump to SCSI.

There are no 64bit 33MHz ATA RAID cards. Unless you plan on using Maxtor drives, ATA133 isn't too useful. I wouldn't worry about any of those requirements. Just get a 3Ware card be done with it.

I stand corrected, the new 3Ware cards are 64bit 33MHz, RAID 10 (not 0+1), ATA133 as well, no cache, no big deal.

Looks like the only 64-bit card is the 7400 series from 3Ware, the 6400 series is 32-bit only & ATA33/66 only. The 6400 seems to be very, very fast for the money (under $100).

The 7400 series is closer to what I want, with ATA/100 support & 64-bit PCI. It's more than twice as much, though.

StorageReview doesn't seem to have reviews of Adaptec's 1200A/2400A cards, does anybody know where they stand in the performance lineup?

I intend to use this with two of the infamous 120 GB/8 MB WD's.

SR reviewed both those Adaptec cards. I would still go with 3Ware.

WD drives of the past have been rather underwhelming RAID performers.

The current Rocket RAID by Highpoint are 32-bit, 66mhz PCI (also backwards compatible with 33mhz) and supports RAID 0, 1, 0+1 and spanning, supports ATA 100/133 and under RAID 0 it supports tripping sizes as big as 2 MB.
It doesn't have cache or 64-bit PCI. I have one and its been pretty stable.
