Are there any good submarine simulations around anymore?

More specifically, pacific theatre World War II type stuff...

I remember back in the day I loved playing Silent Service 2 by Microprose. But that probably wouldn't run on an Athlon these days (too fast). Anybody know of such beasts laying around store shelves these days?

Don't know about WWII, but EA has an excellent sub simulator called Sub Command. It features the 688i, Seawolf, and Akula subs.

What about Silent Hunter II, there is a review on gamespot.

"Silent Hunter II is set in the German U-boats of World War II, ranging from the coast of Norway all the way down to South America."
