Are there any good programs that will allow you to tak through your PC?

Free is preferable but a trial is ok. I need to use a laptop to talk through hooked up to larger speakers. I looked into karaoke and DJ programs but have yet to find one that will allow me do just talk w/o having to be playing a song. I need it to run in real time and not a sound recorder.

If you want to talk through your computer and peole cant seem to ehar you just shout. The sound will penetrate.

Am I stupid but isn't this kind of built in already?

Hook up a mic to the mic input and the speaker/amplifier to line out. Much the same way you do when you capture video with sound.

My laptop sound card doesnt have this.... I am using this at a big meeting and was planning on hooking up a stereo to it. What I was looking for is a DJ type of program.

Are you saying you have no input/output jacks? If that's the case no software is going to help you.

No Ive got a mic in and speakers out but my sound card doesnt pass through.... I have all the hardware I need but for some reason it doesnt pass the mic through. Sound recorder works but I need somthign real time.

That doesnt work forever, eventually it stops.
