I'm going to be starting a small business and I need a good off-site place to back up files to. Are there any good online data backup sites? I'm going to be backing up data daily to CD/DVD discs, but that doesn't do me much good if my house burns down lol. Recommendations?

well, it will be financial records, customer database stuff, project files, etc. which means I'll probably need a couple gigs and it needs to be very secure.

$369 with a set up fee for 800GB.

Note how the OP said he wants something online, of course if he wants it locally he should burn DVD's and possibly keep a spare hard drive that he copes it to.

Yup. I have a Pioneer 108 that I use for DVD backups. I really just want something off-site I can upload to tho.

I'm not sure yet. The type of work is publishing, so a lot of EPS graphic files and a lot of InDesign and PDF files. Probably under a gig per project.

http://www.streamload.com :)

is that reliable?

Well, I'm using the free account & I haven't had any issues yet :)
Streamload has been around since all the other free services before the internet bubble burst. They are all equally reliable now that they went to a pay plan. Another solution is xdrive.com ... the free option in streamload is limited so obviously you're going with a pay plan either way.
