Are there any good micro ATX AMD boards?

I have an ECS K7SEM with an Athlon XP 1.4 GHz. It's stable once you get it to boot into Windows 2000. It has some issues with the display being garbled unless you boot two or three times. I've tried everything to troubleshoot it. Newest BIOS, new display drivers, etc. I think it's just a POS board.

Anyway, I am looking for a new micro ATX board. I kinda like the Epox EP-8KLM2.

Can anybody suggest a board that won't give me problems?

lots of good matx amd boards :)

ive had tons of success using the biostar m7vig (probably built over 100 systems using that board) the nice thing about it is that you can use either pc133 or ddr (so if you dont want to buy new ram, you can use your pc133 from your k7sem.. and still be able to upgrade to ddr in the future) newegg.com sell them for around $56 with free shipping

but most any matx board based on either the km266, km400, or nforce2 should be very trouble free and easy to setup (im not real fond of nforce1 boards, i had lots of trouble with them)

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm trying to keep the price down because this is a budget box. If I have to replace the PC 133 SDRAM with DDR, I might as well just start all over with an ATX board and a new case.

I"ve been having some troubles with the Shuttle MN31/N. Evidently it doesn't like cheap RAM. I got some Kingston Value RAM and it hates it, unless you're using a vid card and not the IGP,then it's fine

, still in the process of ironing things out, but I'm wishing I would have gone with the A7N8X-VM right about now.

My 2 cents anyway :)
