Are there any good, inexpensive ($20) PC gamepads?

It seems like the market for PC accessories like gamepads is sort of dead, compared to what it used to be. I need a new gamepad because the $5 Saitek was very well worth $5 but the directional pad just sucks on it.

What I really like is using an Xbox controller with that adapter. But I don't own either one of those, so ultimately that would probably cost me $30 or more. I am not really sure if I like the Xbox controller more than the PS2, but I am comfortable with both, and would like a PC controller similar. Are there any ones like that, that are readily available?

My brother likes the PS2 controller, so I picked up him a PS2 to USB adapter off Ebay for $12 shipped. It works very well in all the games he plays.

As far as PC gamepads, I think the Logitech Dual Action gamepad is pretty close to having the same layout and buttons as a PS2 controller. I've seen them for $20 at Circuit City (non Rumblepad version) and the Rumblepad version is $10 more.

I've been thinking about picking one of these up to replace my MS Sidewinder gamepad, but I just can't get rid of the Sidewinder. That controller has been a rock for about 6 years now and still works great.
