Are there any good handheld ebook readers?

I have a laptop and a pocket pc, but the laptop is too heavy (5 pounds) and the PPC is too small, if i look at it for more than 5 min my eyes start to hurt. Is there any decent ebook readers out there that are easy on the eyes and light?
