Games like Polar Bowler or Gutterball (1 and 2) are a little bit too unrealistic.

Hi,
There were a few flash based games a few years ago. Most are too "arcady" for my liking.
By far the most realistic bowling game was Brunswick Circuit Pro Bowling, circa 1998. The physics involving ball contact, rotation, oil patterns, etc. is very realistic. There were demos out there but probably have all gone to /dev/null due to age.
This game with an updated graphics engine (Crytek anyone?) would rule the roost for some time to come. Unfortunately there is just not the demand for a (non FPS) game to do this so this will never happen.

So, did you find any bowling games to download?

I found one called Pin Action Bowling that is quite good despite the fact that it could probably run on a 486 DX2. Unfortunately the trail version only lets you play 4 frames.![]()

You must have a hell of an arm to be able to throw a 486DX/2 and get any wood at all.
OMG the way that could be read into is nasty! :Q
