are there any Gb SerDes transceivers that dont require an external K comma for syncing, but use internal synch tech.?

All the fibre channel and Gb Ethernat SERDES ICs I look at require a Protocol layer inserttion of a K28.5 or similar comma in every few 8b/10b samples, are there any more flexible ICs that have a purely internal synch system?
