I'd say Saints Row and Dead Rising are the only two. The other good games are all available and often times better on the PC. Oblivion is much better IMO because of mods

Pretty dismal if you ask me. Xbox360 has been out a year now and doesn't have a single must have game for me yet. I'd say if you feel the same that you should sell yours too (I did)
 
Eh, ive loved my 360.

Saints row is great, so is dead rising.

Ive actually enjoyed just cause as well. it got bad reviews, but ive had a fun time playing it.

 
Id say Dead Rising is must have. I assumed it would be mindless zombie killing, however the story and the amount of scoops is ridiculous. I challenge anyone to save all the survivors.

On a side note, the stupid sledgehammer likes to accidently target people, and it will 1 shot all the survivors, making their head explode. So avoid attempting to save someone using a sledgehammer 😛

i've played plenty of FPS games, and it seems like that's all 360 has. i just want something different. good rpg, good action platformer, good adventure game, etc.

i don't like sports games in general, and EA in particular.

I'm in that boat with you as far as sports games ... but I like my FPS games, and my PC blows. "Next-Gen" games aren't really "next-gen" when they're played at 640x480 No Detail. 😛

As far as upcoming releases for your action/RPG/adventure fix:

Adventure - Alan Wake
Action/Platformer - Banjo Kazooie, Assassin's Creed
RPG - Phantasy Star Universe

Of course, I love my DS Lite as well. 🙂

Plus other JRPGs like Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon coming. Enchanted Arms is the only current JRPG out.

Live Arcade looks like it will have a slick lineup of games starting with Castle Crashers and Small Arms.

 
I vastly prefer the control scheme for FPS and RTS games to be a keyboard and mouse, so I tend to stay away from those types of games on a console. Consoles are about sports, racing, party and possibly 3rd person perspective games.

I really, really enjoyed Rare's Kameo as an excellent adventure/RPG title.

Gears Of War is my next purchase. It's a 3rd person shooter, but looks to be a really nice evolution on the idea. It's also a type of game that'll be far more enjoyable on a big screen with the home theatre blaring around you.

BioWare's Mass Effect is going to take RPGs above and beyond, I'm thinking.

Assassin's Creed should be terrific (Q2 2007).

Just go get Kameo. One of the best games ever. Has everything you're looking for.

kameo rocked... Saints Row is fantasitic.. TDU is great... Assasins Creed is gonna be mind blowing.. Dead Rising is fun till you toss your controller through a window..

I love my 360.. play it way more than my PC now... and I also use my media extender function on it..
 
some good looking games coming out. Assians Creed looks awesome. Forza 2 will be sweet. The new Splinter Cell. Gears of War. Plus new WW2 shooters (drawing a blank on names)
 
Xbox 360 has such a bad choice of good games it's not even funny, when I say good, I mean 9/10+ games.

People always talk about Halo Halo Halo because it's one of the only decent games for the console.

Such a failure, they need to get some good games, and I mean more then 3 games.

For example, Resident Evil 4 was such a fantastic game, these are the type of games I want to see, games that you buy, play and say to your self, I got my moneys worth out of this game.
