Are there any free webhosting for non-profit groups?

Hi all,

I"m trying to help my friend setup a website for her non-profit organization. Is there a reliable webhost with no ads that offers free hosting to non-profit groups? Her organization deals with orphans in Honduras.
Thanks!

ask Rossman or DeviousTrap, the later being the better cause ross will refer you to him as well

ripplehost only costs 10$ a year also

A bit OT, but why give a rat's arse about orphans in Honduras when we have plenty of orphans and homeless chilluns right here in the United States. Why not start your charity at home?

Just a question, I'm not trying to crap on your thread.

Probably because orphanages in Honduras aren't nearly as humane and/or safe as those in the U.S. Not to mention that the streets of Honduras are likely MUCH more dangerous than those in the U.S., in most cases.

Then again, I completely agree with you, HP. Just a conjecture about the OP's friend's intentions.

I understand. It just irks me that so many U.S. based charities want to "help" people in other countries whild, at the same time, they walk right past homeless families on their way to work in the morning.

There's an old saying about how charity should start at home. We seem to be forgetting that.

Oh well, I crapped, wiped and am done now.

I could set you up on my hosting account, I have plenty of free bandwidth and disk space

Actually, that was an option I offered her. I also have a hosting account that I can store her site, but she wants webmail and graphical logs. That was just her request, so I'm just going to scour around and see what I can do to help.

🙂

Charity, let it start at someone else's home and end at mine.
