Does anyone know of a good real time file sync program? I would like to place a file server on the other side of the US but i'm having problems with the demo programs i've been using. The problem stems from the fact that people will be connecting to the 2 servers and modifying the files. I was hoping to find something that would let the other server know that a file is opened already and lock it down so that only one person would be able to modify at a time. Does this feature exist or am i dreaming too far into the futre? does anyone have a favorite sync proggy out there?
I've looked at PeerSync Pro, WanSync from XOSoft, LinkPro, and SureSync from Software Pursuits. have i missed any big corporate titles? Thanks in advance!
