I've found nothing bad about mine. But it doesn't have a slide-out MB tray:(

There are two small things that I have found with the case that I would like to change:

  • In order to remove the metal cages in front of the 3.5 and 5.25 bays, I needed to remove the plastic face on the case. There are four catches that I needed to unclip. 3 of them were easily accessible from the screwless entry side. The fourth one was only accessbile through unscrewing and removing the other side to the case.

  • The 5.25 trays are a little tight. The first element I added wasn't as easy as I hoped. Once I figured out how to do it easily, the rest went it without a problem.

In terms of not having a removable MB tray, I used to see this as a problem. Now I see it as a benefit. Because of not having the tray, we need to be able to directly insert the MB into the opening through the side of the case. This means that the opening has to be big enough to fit an ATX MB(which it is). As a result, there is lots of room to install RAM, HSF, cables, cards, etc...

It is the easiest to work with case I have ever owned and it is all because of the size of the opening.

The only drawback that I see is that I can't freaking find one locally so I can at least look at the thing before I buy it. I'm still hung up on the color thing. Maybe I should go with the SX1040 or SX830/SX840 because I don't get a choice in color. ;)

well its an AWESOME case, but you need long cables like 24'' if you have a mobo with the IDE connectors way down there, thats the only thing that bothers me a little

oh, don't forget there's a DOOR covering CDROM and powerswitch. If you use CDROM frequently, then you're better off getting sx830, like I did. :) but it doesn't come with black color.

and definitely get 24" IDE cables. i could care less about a MB tray, not worth my time, and easy openning side door more than makes up for it. One more thing, don't expect to move the case much once everything's plugged in. The sucker weighs at least 40lb fully loaded. :)
