Are there any computer speaker systems that support DTS?

From what little I understand about DTS is that it is just another way of encoding audio (read copy protection). It is starting to become more common in DVD's. So, what you need is a DTS capable player and not necessarily speakers. A true audiophile can probably flame me for saying that though.

WinDVD makes a DTS software player for the PC (I use it and it works good). Most guys into DTS are using standalone DVD players from what I have read though...

2 that I know of.

The Yamaha TSS-1, it's a 5.1 setup with 4 channel analog inputs, and coax and optical digital inputs complete with dolby digital and DTS decoders.

The Video Logic DigiTheatre DTS, it's a 5.1 setup with 2 channe analog inputs, and coax and optical digital inputs with DD and DTS decoding.

Just FYI, you won't be able to tell the difference between DTS and DD on the TSS1s, and I seriously doubt you will on the DigiTheatre DTS either...these kind of speakers just can't output that kind of clarity.

The Hercules Gaming Theater XP is supposed to decode dts. And it's a really cool sound card.
And DTS is not a form of copy protection it's digital encoding that compresses the sound differently than dolby digital. If you have the proper decoder it will output it to your 5.1 speaker system amazingly well and create great surround sound effects.
Newegg.com sell the gaming theater for a decent price.
