My girlfriend has a plumbing problem but doesn't have enough savings to pay for repairs. I suggested her get an interest-free credit card instead of getting a bank loan. She could then move the remaining balance to a bank loan if she cannot pay it off in one year's time.

Are there any companies providing this promotion currently? Can you provide a link?

I got it when it was 1 year and 7.99%... but it's still a super deal IMO.

Do you have to pay back any interest that would have accumulated the first 6 months if you don't pay your balance off by the 7th month?

Yeah, I think all 0% cards are that way.
And the card is 12-Month, not 6 like I said... 🙂
