Are there any casette to AUX adapters that offer quality?

No. You're limited by the maximum fidelity of the cassette pickup head. As an owner of a car with fully integrated iPod system, I say there is no substitute for a direct line in.

Also: Spider.

The cassette adapters all suck. It's a horrible way of doing it. I tried it in my truck and gave up on it after a week.

Significantly better than any FM transmitter though. I found one from the 90's a couple years back in my old house. Worked pretty good for the couple of cars I used it in. My car has had a piggy back off the cd player for awhile, and that works pretty well.
