Minimums are often lower with two cards instead of one due to CPU bottlenecks...DX12 Split Frame Rendering can't come soon enough. Tired of inflated fps from AFR which doesn't really represent actual performance.
They use fraps for percentile analysis.... Maxwell sli has somehow managed to evade analysis under the fcat microscope since the initial 980/970 reviews showed it to be failing.
I would bet Guru3D will have one soon. They usually do a really good SLI/CF review 1-2 weeks after initial launch. They also include a lot of FCAT analysis too (they had this for the single 980Ti if you are curious).
To be fair, the latest NVIDIA driver has helped Kepler performance, but yeah... how the mighty have fallen. I hope to do a driver comparison when I get some more time.
