Are there any 370 mobos better than the CUSL2-C?

Spoooon

I busted my CUSL2-C. I had to jump some burned traces. And the socket might be messed up a little bit. 😱

Anyway, are there any mobos better than the CUSL2-C? I figure since I have to get another one, I might as well make it an upgrade. I'm going to pick up a Celeron 600 or so and put it in the old one and start a crack rack.

Bah! That's not what I wanted to hear! 🙂 What I'm really hoping is that someone is going to post that their 75 dollar mobo is the best mobo that they have ever used and that 5 reputable online sites said it beats the CUSL2-C hands down. 😉

if thats what you want to hear then don't hold your breath. i have a CUSL2 w/the onboard VGA disabled, making it almost identical to the CUSL2-C, and i love my mobo. of course you'll hear people say that Abit SA6R OCs better than the CUSL2. so what if the FSB on the SA6R goes up to 250 mHz and the CUSL2 only does 216 mHz...who is ever going to go that high anyways? the fact of the matter is that the stability and reliability of the CUSL2(-C) is above the rest of the market (with the exception of the MSI 815E Pro and Pro2, but i dont know how well those boards OC). if i were looking strictly for stability and reliability, it would be a toos up between ASUS and MSI.

Asus has always been good to me. I'm intrigued by MSi...but in the case of the CUSL2 Asus has 6 PCI slots (main reason I'm interested in MSi) so it'd be a no-brainer for me.

If I was building an Intel CPU system, I wouldn't even bother looking at any other boards. Call me whatever names you feel like...Asus has always treated me very well, and as long as they continue to do so I'll stick with thier products.
