Are there 80GB harddrives available for a Sony PCG-GRX 700 notebook currently?

He swears to me that I cant find a 80GB harddrive or higher thats compatible with his notebook, and willing to bet me $100. We're kind of in a dilemma in terms of which of our computers we should sacrifice to use for the family business security system we're going to install which requires a 80GB harddrive.

Help me prove him wrong, if not it looks like i'll be sacrificing my gaming computer for this

Any 2.5" notebook PATA hard drive should work. 80GB 5400rpm laptop drives are fairly cheap.

See if you can take it out. If you can, then put any 2.5" in. If its fixed to the computer, you will have to stay with that or mod it some how i dunno.

To repeat what the above replies said, any 2.5" drive will work. IIRC, There are currently up to 120gb 2.5" drives avalible on the market.
