I don't own an Apple computer, but I've used a few in stores and their display has this crystal crispness. So I checked out the specs of an iMac and I saw that their display has a pixel pitch of 0.11-0.12mm. Increased density of pixels is what's giving the display this clarity.

And now I'm wondering how much money do I need to invest in a monitor that will give me a similar pixel density.

Dell U2515H has a pixel pitch of 0.21mm but that's far from 0.11.

I know that Apple sell their 27" Thunderbolt display (which is just a monitor I can hook to a PC) but that thing costs $1000. That's a lot for me. Their 21" iMac costs around $1200-1400 and it's a full computer. If you remove the motherboard, CPU, HDD, and other stuff from there, there owe to be a 21-24" display out there in the range of $500

So are there any monitors with 0.1 pixel pitch?
