Are there 2 versions of the 24x Liteon burner?

The reason ia sk is newegg has the retail 24x for 104.00 plus 7.00 shipping and the OEM 24x for 107.00 and 9.00 shipping. The only differance I see is in the model number it says 24102B-01 for the retail and 24102B-02 for the OEM version

get the retail
cause the price diff is not too much
and i have bought retail
it rocks
it will do the job
 
You must have misread my post. The retail is cheaper. Thats why I am wondering if the OEM drive they have is possiblly a newer model or something

You might want to verify those prices with NewEgg.
 
Last week, the Retail 24x LiteOn was about $6 more then the OEM, and cost about $123 if I remember correctly (I actually ordered this last week). So it looks like they've dropped the prices and maybe mixed things up in the process.
