Are there 175 watt Jasper units with the 256mb internal memory?

My Arcade unit has a manufacture date of 9/29/08. It says [12V-14,2A ;5V-1A] on the back... so I suppose that means it is a 175 watt unit?

Since it is an Arcade model with 256mb of internal memory, does that mean I have a Jasper that is 175w? Did the Falcon motherboard ever have 256mb internal?

FYI: Mine is the Arcade unit that lost access to the internal 256mb memory once I upgraded the dashboard with a 20gig HD installed (posted about this the other day).

Anyway, just trying to figure things out. Thanks for any help.

UPDATE: After a bit more research it seems that there were a few early 175w Jasper units, which is what I appear to have.

Look at the power brick and see which connector it has

I don't think you have a Jasper, sounds like a Falcon. There may be Jaspers with 175w powerbricks if they're backwards compatible, which I think they may be, but 14.2A would indicate Falcon, Jasper should be 12.1A.

Check the power brick. If it has 150W on it it is guaranteed to be a Jasper. I bought a used Falcon and it shows 16.2A on the case but has a 14.2A power brick.

Unfortunately my unit is the 175watter. However, a Falcon unit doesn't have enough internal memory to support the NXE dashboard... this one has it. If I pop the HD off of the unit, I still have the new dash. Must be Jasper, right?

Easiest way is to look at the label on the back with the serial # on it. If it says "12,1A" then it's Jasper. If it says "14,2A" it's a Falcon. That said, pretty much any Arcade bought last holiday was a Jasper.

Jasper has a different set of power connectors than falcon..look at the old AT article and you can tell what you have.

I understand that the first run of Jaspers were 175watt units. Besides power, how to tell? All Jaspers have internal memory, 256 and now 512, right?
