Are the x2's based on the venice or san diego core?

Both. 4200+ and 4600+ are two Venice cores. 4400+ and 4800+ are two San Diego cores.

That depends I think....512kb ones like 4200+ and 2600+ would be more like the venice and the 4400+ and 4800+ would be san diegos....nonetheless both the san diego and venice are pretty much the same except the cache size....so basically it is both...

One thing for sure it is based on the E core revisions
